All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Gorakhpur, under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, is hiring for a temporary research project titled “Enhancing Preparedness through Vulnerability Mapping in Communities and Healthcare Facilities against Heat-Related Illness in Gorakhpur”.This ICMR-funded project aims to assess heat vulnerability in Gorakhpur and improve healthcare responses. The recruitment is for Project Technical Support-II on a purely temporary basis (2 years).

– 3-year Graduate Degree (Relevant Field) +
– 2 years of relevant experience
Field Research, Data Collection, Community Health Projects₹20,000 + 20% HRA30 Years (Age relaxation as per ICMR rules)

✔ Experience in field surveys, data collection, and community health programs
✔ Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and statistical tools (SPSS, R, Epi Info)
✔ Knowledge of GIS software (preferred but not mandatory)
✔ Strong communication skills (English & Hindi)
✔ Willingness to travel extensively in Gorakhpur (urban & rural areas)

  1. Field Data Collection: Conduct household and healthcare facility surveys.
  2. Survey Coordination: Assist in training field teams and managing survey logistics.
  3. Data Management: Ensure accurate data entry, validation, and reporting.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Work with local health authorities and community members.
  5. Report Preparation: Support in data analysis and presentation.
