CSIR-CDRI Project Staff Recruitment 2025 – Walk-in-Interview Notification

CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI), Lucknow, is conducting a Walk-In-Interview on 2nd May 2025 for the temporary engagement of CSIR-CDRI Project Staff under various funded research projects. This opportunity is aimed at candidates from Chemical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Life Sciences disciplines. Positions range from Project Assistant-II to Project Associate-I/II. The selection will be done on the basis of performance in the walk-in interview, and selected candidates will work on cutting-edge research addressing major public health challenges such as antimicrobial resistance, cancer care, osteoporosis, dengue, and more.

Q1: Is prior experience mandatory for all posts?
A: While not mandatory for all, many positions mention experience in organic synthesis, molecular biology, or animal handling as desirable.

Q2: What is the maximum age limit?
A: The maximum age limit for all positions is 35 years as on the date of interview.

Q3: Can final year students apply with provisional certificates?
A: No. Only those with final certificates/mark sheets are eligible. ‘Result awaited’ cases will not be considered.

A: Most projects have tenure up to 31st March 2026, with some extending to 2027.
