- Design & modeling of gene regulatory networks and synthetic biology circuits
- Hands-on experience with molecular biology tools (e.g., cloning, transformation, gene expression analysis)
- Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python for biological system modeling
- Exposure to computational modeling tools such as ODEs, stochastic simulations, LNA
- Familiarity with simulation tools like COPASI, COMSOL, etc.
- Knowledge of control theory concepts applied to biology is a plus
