Indian Rare Earth Recruitment 2025 Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 25 Years
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST: +5 Years, OBC (NCL): +3 Years, PwD: +10 Years.
Stipend: As prescribed under the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, and as notified by the Government of India.
Selection Process
The selection is based purely on merit and specific priority criteria:
- Merit List: A merit list will be prepared based on the marks scored in the specified essential qualification (e.g., BE, Diploma, ITI, B.Sc.).
- Tie-Breaker: In case of a tie, the candidate with higher marks in the qualifying exam will be ranked higher. If the tie persists, the older candidate (by date of birth) will be preferred.
- Priority Categories: The following priority order will be adopted for selection:
- A. Candidates from Land Affected Category (given land for the company).
- B. Wards of IREL Employees (including wards of deceased employees).
- C. Permanent residents of specific villages near the plant (Chinnavilai, Periavilai, etc.).
- D. Permanent residents of other specified villages (Midalam, Keezhmidalam, etc.).
- E. Candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu State.
- F. Others.
- Medical Fitness & Police Verification: Shortlisted candidates must be declared “Medically Fit” by the company’s medical officer and must submit a Police Verification Certificate before joining.
