- For Indian Gurkhas: Education Certificate, Residential Certificate, Aadhaar Card, Bonafide Gurkha Certificate, Sports Certificate (if any), Character Certificate.
- For Nepali Gurkhas: Education Certificate, Nepali Citizenship (Nagarik Praman Patra), Sports Certificate (certified by National Sports Council, Nepal), Character Certificate from Rural Municipality/Municipality.
- For Ex-Servicemen: Discharge Certificate from Defence Authority.
- Three recent passport-size photographs with the candidate’s signature on the front.
