RPSC Recruitment 2025 Essential Qualifications
- A Degree in Law from a University established by Law in India or its equivalent.
- Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script.
- Knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.

- Maximum Age: 40 Years

Selection Process
The selection for the Junior Legal Officer post will be a two-stage process:
- Written Examination: The written exam will consist of four papers, each of 150 objective-type questions (MCQs). Each paper is for 50 marks and has a duration of 3 hours.
- Paper-I: Constitution of India (Emphasis on Fundamental Rights, DPSP, Writs, functioning of SC/HC, Attorney General).
- Paper-II: Civil Procedure Code (CPC) and Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) – Provisions generally referred to in Govt. offices.
- Paper-III: Evidence Act, Limitation Act, Interpretation of Statutes, Drafting, and Conveyancing.
- Paper-IV: Language Paper (Part-A: General Hindi – 25 marks, Part-B: General English – 25 marks).
- Negative Marking: Yes, 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Interview (Viva-Voce): Candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks in the written exam will be called for an interview. The interview will carry marks up to 10% of the total marks of the written examination.
The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined marks of the written exam and the interview.
