- Fee Exemption:

- Claiming a false exemption will lead to disqualification and debarment for one year.

Selection Process
The selection involves two main stages (three for specific posts like Forester):
- Stage 1: Preliminary Examination
- Common exam for both Group II & IIA
- Single Paper (Objective, OMR-based)
- General Tamil/English (100 Questions – SSLC level)
- General Studies (75 Questions – Degree level)
- Aptitude & Mental Ability (25 Questions – SSLC level)
- Total Marks: 300 | Duration: 3 Hours | Qualifying Marks: 90
- Stage 2: Main Examination (Separate for Group II and IIA)

- Paper I: Tamil Eligibility Test (Descriptive) – 100 Marks (Qualifying: 40)

- New users must register on the OTR platform by paying ₹150.
- Upload scanned photo (20–50 KB) and signature (10–20 KB).
- Aadhaar linking is mandatory.
- OTR is valid for 5 years.
- Filling the Online Application:
- Log in using your OTR User ID and Password.
- Select the relevant post and click on “APPLY”.
- Fill in all details carefully as per your certificates.
- Payment of Exam Fee:
- Choose payment method (Net Banking, Credit/Debit card, UPI).
- Make the required payment (as applicable).
- No offline payment (DD, IPO) is accepted.
