1. Walk-in-InterviewThe final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the personal interview. A skill test may also be conducted for certain posts, if applicable.

1.Download the application form from the official CSIR-IICT website.
2.Fill out the application form completely.
3.Gather one set of self-attested copies of all relevant documents (Educational certificates from 10th onwards, NET/GATE scorecard, Experience certificates, Caste/Category certificate, etc.).
4.Report in person for registration on 27th November 2025 between 09:30 AM to 10:30 AM with the filled application and documents.
5.Venue: CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad – 500 007.
6.Bring all original certificates for verification.

Note: Candidates reporting after 10:30 AM will not be allowed to register.

Q1: I am awaiting my final semester M.Sc. results. Can I apply for CSIR IICT Recruitment 2025?
A1: No. Candidates who are result-awaited or have appeared for their final semester are not eligible to appear for the walk-in-interview. You must have acquired the essential qualification and possess at least a provisional certificate by the date of the interview.

Q2: What is the total tenure one can serve in CSIR-IICT on these project positions?
A2: A candidate cannot serve in CSIR-IICT (or any CSIR lab) in these temporary project roles (like Project Assistant, JRF, etc.) for more than a total of 6 years. If you have previously served for less than 6 years, your new tenure will be limited to the remaining period up to the 6-year limit.

Q3: Is there any travel allowance for attending the walk-in-interview for CSIR IICT Recruitment 2025?
A3: No. The advertisement clearly states that no Traveling Allowance or Daily Allowance (TA/DA) will be paid to candidates for attending the interview.

Q4: What is the difference between the two salary slabs for Project Associate-II?
A4: The higher emolument (₹35,000 + HRA) is for scholars who have qualified a national eligibility test like CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, or exams conducted by DBT/DST. The lower emolument (₹28,000 + HRA) is for those who do not have such a qualification.

Q5: Is it mandatory to bring original documents to the walk-in-interview for CSIR IICT Recruitment 2025?
