Process Description
1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
The CBT will be of 120 minutes duration, comprising 125 objective questions (100 Technical + 25 General Aptitude & Reasoning). There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
2. Interview
Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be shortlisted for the interview in a 1:5 ratio.
3. Final Merit
The final selection is based on the combined performance in CBT (85% weightage) and Interview (15% weightage).
Q1: What is the salary for a Probationary Engineer in BEL? Ans: The post is in the E-II grade with a pay scale of ₹40,000 – 3% – ₹1,40,000. The approximate Cost to Company (CTC) is ₹13 Lakhs per annum, which includes Basic Pay, DA, HRA, Conveyance Allowance, PRP, and other perks.
